Akapukaea, Three Kings Vine, Tecomanthe speciosa

Only one plant of this species is known in the wild on the Three Kings Island and is a real success story of botany. A climbing vine that grows in sun or semi-shade in reasonable soil. Large attractive leaves give it a tropical look with large white tubular flowers. Great to climb over fences, tanks or any structure it can attach to.
